Everybody in Burma will know Maung Aye.  He is the commander of
eastern command after 1988 military coup.  As soon as new junta got
power in 1988, Maung Aye planned to control of Shan State step by
step.  Before he was in power in Shan State, Shan State governer
should be Shan man according to promise of Takin Aung San, national
Architect of Burma Union.  Muang Aye think that Aung San is not
competant. After Maung Aye stepped in as  governor of Shan State, he
started to plan to shift the wealth owned by Shan people to his
brumese fellow business men to counter Aung San 's promise of Shan
State should be governed by Shan people and the wealth of Shan State
should be in the hand of Shan people.  The First step was to made his
son Aung Ko Win to became rich man by giving him most of profitable
contracts.  After Maung Aye's 7 years contorl of Shan State, 90% of
Shan Economy was controlled by Aung Ko Win and his burmese
associates.  Muang Aye also ordered his Burmese Soliders and Aung Ko
Win to rape Shan Women.
          Maung Aye also no happy with Khin Nyunt's idea of to pay
some right to pay some right to national minorities.  Muang Aye also
not happy charefire agreement with Wa Army.  Also jealous about the
wealth of Wa and Shan people collected by drug trade.  After 1998,
Maung Aye ordered his army to participate in drug trade.  To control
drug trade, Muang Aye first idea is to coorporate with Wa army.  Maung
Aye ordered Burmese Military offier to collect tax from Wa Army if Wa
Army want to carry drug to Burma Thailand border controll by Burmese
Army.  Muang Aye and his officers and his business man Aung Ko Win
collected tax and brides from Wa Army .  Muang Aye ordered his
officers and Aung Ko Win , to invest income from drug trade in
Singapore and central Burma.  Muang Aye ordered Aung Ko Win to
deposit  drug money  in Singapore bank and buy apartments and housings
in Singapores.  After 10 years of collection of tax from Wa Army,
Maung Aye new idea is to fight Wa using drug war to keep silent his
book with Wa.
      Maung Aye 'plan is to fight Wa .
       He is very clever.
      But we must have understand what Muang Aye did in his era.  We
should not forgive what Maung Aye and his Aung Ko Win and his officers
did in Muang Aye era.  We must have to study forward even after 100
years after Maung Aye step dwon from power.

     We must to understand and compare who is Aung San and who is
Maung Aye.
    We do know that Aung San is Architect of Union of Burma .
