To All Sikhs, Let This be Your Order, Recognize the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as Your Guru

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh                                                                                            

Gurmukh Piarey Jio,

Over the years, Sikhs in Malaysia have realized the significance and importance of our Eternal Guru, the Shabad Guru, Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in our lives.  In respect of Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s 300th Gugadhi Dihara, which falls this year, the Sabha has decided to organize a Grand Gurgadhi Dihara Semagam to reflect and renew the theme above.  This Grand Event has been jointly organized by the Sabha with the various Gurdwaras and Sikh Societies in Malaysia.

Details of the Semagam is as follows:

Dates   :  October 1st  (Wednesday) – 4th (Saturday) @ 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
           :  October 5th (Sunday) @ 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
           :  (October 1st & 2nd are Hari Raya public holidays)

Venue  :  Vacant land next to Sabha House, Kuala Lumpur
           :  (No. 11A Jalan Kuantan, opp. Tasik Titiwangsa)

Highlights of the program:

·      Kirtan & Katha by renowned personalities (Bhai Tarjit Singh, Kernal Walle; Bhai Niranjan Singh, Jwaddi Kalan Walle; Bhai Harjinder Singh, Sri Nagar Walle; Bhai Amandeep Singh, Mata Kolan Walle; Bibi Arungeet Kaur, Bangkok; Bhai Veer Singh, Ambala Walle; Bhai Jasbir Singh, Anandpur Sahib Walle & our local kirtani jathas.
·      Balak Kirtan Darbar (October 2nd – Thursday @ 2 – 5 p.m.)
·      Exhibition on Sikh Heritage
·      Amrit Sanchaar (October 5th - Sunday@ 6 a.m.)
·      Paatha de Bhog
·      Punjabi Bazaar
·      Children’s Tea Party (October 4th – Saturday @ 4.30 – 6.00p.m.)
·      Paath Competitions (October 2nd – Thursday @ 10a.m.)
·      Raag Darbar (October 2nd – Thursday @ 9a.m.)
·      Jap Tap Semagam (October 4th – Saturday @ 9a.m)
