You go to great lengths to describe the reasons Belichick should
have defied the odds and punted. That's fine, sometimes you go
with your gut instinct, for whatever reason, and defy the odds.
In this instance Belichick played the percentages and lost, that

IMO, the greatest innovation of recent times is the package of
precooked bacon. Our local supermarket chain (Market Basket for you
Boston area folks) store brand pre packaged bacon is the best I've
found (better than Oscar Meyer IMO) You get 15 slices of bacon for
$2.29.
BLT's, Bacon Cheeseburgers, Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwiches anytime

I don't know John, one of the things I love about the south is a nice

Yeah, it surely has. The computer is called Zeus and I posted
a link to the article describing the scenarios and the statistical
results. In each scenario, average team against average team *and*
New England offense against Colt defense, the high percentage call

There are many, yet the first I think of is 4/20/84 at the old (RIP)
Philly Civic Center. That was so much fun, and the band was rocking
out.
I'd also like to do 6/30/85 Merriweather over again. And 10/6/84.....
Same with 4/6/82 and 12/31/90.
I wish I had some older shows to choose from for "over again". I

Funny you should mention it. We've seen "Enemy at the Gates" and he's
read the book. He thinks "The Great Raid" is the best movie ever made in
like, forever (and he's seen "2001: A Space Odyssey" at the Cinerama).
Clearly, I have a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks for the
