I just downloaded this monster (11GB, three DVDs). It's long been a "white whale" of Dead lore: a proshot multi camera video of the band from the Europe 72 tour. I've had some of the show in audio for a while, but seeing them is terrific, and kudos to the Deadheads who "finished" this by multi-purposing some of the footage to cover sections for which there is no video.
They used some trippy filters to grab footage from other areas to give us something to look at during the last hour of the show, and gaps prior.
This is supposedly a new version, synced to the soundboard recording.
Jerry, Bob, Phil, & Billy look so young. I don't see too much of Keith or Donna, but hear him anyway. Not too much Donna filter indicated as necessary on this one.
Pigpen does look old here, for Pig. He's a bit thinner, but sounds fine and gets showcased 3 times, with Chinatown Shuffle, It Hurts Me Too and Caution. This DL is worth it just for the Pig footage, but the whole thing is great. Yow!
If you don't have this, have broadband and want it, email me for source info. If you are out in the sticks with dial up and want to do a B & P, email as well.

How does this compare to what was circulating previously, which I was believe was everything up through Truckin'... Are the Dark Star and Good Lovin sections here?

only with borrowed video. Those parts were not filmed for the broadcast, so the authors of this DVD borrowed footage from other sections, fed it into some processing programs to distort it psychedelically (and to obscure the sync which is absent) to give us the next best thing.
