'that 70's show' was certainly untouched by any reality i have experienced.

You do not own RFC so you can't tell someone to stop posting. That is the controlling I was talking about. Thanks for providing my proof of that fact.

Your intenetions are quit obvious. You wanted to start a discussion to me but you weren't man enough to admit you never kill-filed me in alt.fast-food, which is the reason your posting to BOTH r.f.c and a.f.f.
Admit it! Why post such crap to r.f.c where you already admitted you never kilf-filed me there from?

I don't mind when peeps post about their deceased pets or SO's or bad luck or health or whatever but I'm always slightly taken aback by those who have to *immediately* run to a Usenet group full of strangers to post about the matter. Wayne is a prime example, his cat's death is simply the latest example, he's done this with his health and financial problems and such like. Doesn't Wayne have *anyone* in real life with which he can share his various travails? I've had similar stuff happen over the years but the *last* thing I'd do is barge onto Usenet to cry about it, I'd be commiserating with friends or family or whatever about the matter at hand and I'd *totally* forget about Usenet...
Anyways, maybe I'm just different in that I think it's more than slightly embarrassing to post *every* maudlin detail of one's own personal life on a public forum. My first reaction is: "They must be lonely, don't they have any friends or family or at the least a priest or rabbi or shrink in which to confide...???". I mean Wayne has a *partner*, fer chrissakes...
Wayne (and yes, I don't like him, but he's simply the latest handiest "example", lol) reminds me of some "Lonely Hearts" type who is sitting next to you on a barstool and is so needy and clinging that he is immediately your new "best friend"...very self-centered and immature IMNSHO...and in the end a very repellant personality. IOW an emotional "user"...and also completely clueless, they eventually end up wondering why others avoid them.
> And by the way, I also see you're involved in (yet another) thread > with a poster about a deceased child. I'm fumbling for the word, but > hypocrite comes to mind.
You said it, I didn't, Lou...
:-)
PS: Just for the record I'm sorry that Wayne's cat Mr. Bailey passed on, he sounded like a lovely pet, but my sympathies are *entirely* with Mr. Bailey, *not* Wayne...

Okay, hypocrite fits... but what about a word for someone who posts publicly about the passing of their pet but then uses their killfilter to pick and choose whose condolences to hear?
I'll do you one better, Greg... I'm truly sorry for Mr. Baily... but I truly wish it were that child molesting POS Duh'Wayne who dropped dead... I'm kinda counting on the friggin' scourge not making it until 2010.

The smarmy WEAZEL mentioned you IIRC, so you *know* that all that "killfile" hoo-ha is simply sheer BUNK...*especially* when he is crybabying for sympathy.
<chuckle>

I can't disagree with a *word* you've said, Sheldon, those are my thoughts *exactly*...
:-)
I'll add that last summer Wayne came on here crying about not having 800 or so bux to repair their A/C unit during the hot Arizona summer, homeowner Wayne and his partner had to borrow money from friends to tide them over until payday. I remember him saying that when they came home their pets were dead (their fish) or practically expired.from the extreme heat, and Mr. Bailey was in especially bad shape. That heat incident surely did nothing good for Mr. Bailey's health, if Lil' Wayne was not such an irresponsible DEADBEAT I bet he'd still be alive today...
And now we know why Lil' Wayne doesn't have much in the way of "friends", lol...who wants a deadbeat MOOCH like him for a friend...!!!???
Throw the puke in a cage, I say, and give Lil' Wayne's pets to a *responsible* home...
