Just got back from a 8 day Mexican Riviera cruise. Could watch the market but not enough research to trade. Seems like was a good week to be gone, I had already cut back on my holdings.
I sure like Mexicans, especially when they are in Mexico.

You know working for CNBC has to be the easest job in the world. You get up, look at the futures, and predict off that. Yesterday, it was get out of stocks, today it's, it's only up from here.

Which line and ship? I took that cruise a couple years back on the Spirit with Carnival Lines.. A lot of time on the water is what I remember. I think I would go freestyle if I went again.. The formal dining was kind of stuffy for idea of a relaxing vacation. They sure had a subtle sharp hook trolling for my wallet. Art Auctions, Gambling, lots of water to look at.. I was with Ms.Fit and she was a little too hot for that stuff shirt cruise. Hanging around sunning and being a gym rat you'd of thought we never left home.. hahah The salon nailed me for over a grand alone in massages and facials. Too much time on the water was my reaction when it was over.. But with a younger crowd it might have been more fun.. it was relaxing though. I even read a book which I seldom have time to do otherwise. Glad you had a nice time.

Yea.
Watch the VIX and listen to Meredith Whitney. That's my strategy.

I watch the VIX, the volume and how the market reacts to good or bad news. If good news comes out and the market just moves up a little I see that as a bad sign.
Right now I'm not in the market, I watch it, but I'm too busy reading about Free Will vs Determinism.

Yesterday I watched.........The Band of Heathens. What a great group. They will be on Austin City Limits Saturday night, at least in this area. Today I will be watching....... Rhonda Vincent for an hour at 10am. These early free live shows are really killing my stock market activities.

At this rate, you'll discover existentialism one day before you die, so will never get the chance to see the greatest existential drama ever: no, not "No Exit", and no, not "The Seventh Seal", but of course "Buffy The Vampire Slayer"...
--- William Ernest Reid Post count: just a little more than the number of times "Buffy" died in the show only to be dragged back to "hell"
