I am lost in space with this company. I am in at $1.86 and it has become my albatross. Anyone else follow it? They have a new series of panels being shipped November ( this month) and they just were at a big show in LA but I don't know what the f to think right now..
Sell-Hold-Add I need to do something.. Suggestions?

I think all new construction should have solar part of the design. Make it mandatory and give tax incentives to sweeting the feeling of government fiddling.. but 'f' it. We need to get this party started. Solar panels used to look like shit.. Ugly like Mr. Comics 8th grade sweetheart. There are new designs that fit in great and costs are recouped in 4-years on new construction all financed into the home loan.
Sounds like a good plan to me.. Have them be American made too. (ESLR)
The way these work BTW is they ( solar panels) are connected to your meter and as your panels give energy to the grid your meter runs backwards..
No messing with it..
In the old days you had big batteries for storage and it was a bit of a hassle, but not this new system.. It just works for you.
You reduce your energy costs and with a large home that can me substantial over time. No fuss no thinking just great savings. If your not home and not using energy your solar panels are working and sending their energy into the grid and your meter is turning backwards when you come home and start using energy the meter runs slower..depending on your usage. Smart meters are now on a lot of homes. It is that simple.

If I owned it I would sell and use the money to buy oil stocks.

Monsanto use to grow silicon wafers back in the 70's. IBM use to buy tons of them to make IC's. We were happy as shit to get a yield of 2-3% out of them.

covering because they see their profit from that 52 week low 52wk Range: 1.00 - 12.64 being diminished by 80cents
in the last four quarters: their inventory has quadrupled their accounts payable has doubled and while their total revenue almost doubled in the last 4 Q's, their gross profit shrank from 33% to 4% the black hole of negative retained earnings has increased 62%

their non reoccuringexpenses seem to re-occur every quarter and they're growing sequentially

It's difficult to pick a winner among the solar stocks. I am long ESLR, but am diversified with other solar stocks because I don't know which ones will be the big winners.

Thanks for your input Ron. I may set a limit buy and cost average 50% more shares.. down under 1.40 if I can snag some.. I have JASO too. What other solar players are at a serious buy point?
I never thought about and ETF.. I will look over TAN thanks..

In the solar group, I am also long WFR, TSL, LDK, ENER, and CSIQ.
Wind power stocks are hard to find, but I am currently long ZOLT and have just had my HXL called away from me.
I am over invested in CREE, but they have a lot of room for growth in LED lighting.

yes, what you're missing is #1: at the top of the post I said here's what I wrote in March (it's a re-post) #2: in March, they cut their dividend from $2c to 15c 28-Sep-09 $ 0.15 Dividend 26-Jun-09 $ 0.15 Dividend 27-Mar-09 $ 0.15 Dividend 29-Dec-08 $ 0.42 Dividend 26-Sep-08 $ 0.42 Dividend 26-Jun-08 $ 0.42 Dividend 27-Mar-08 $ 0.42 Dividend
sow the dividend yield AT THAT TIME appeared greater than6%
and on second look, there is no "numbers in thousands" notation on the major holders page, so Barclays does NOT have a trillion dollars worth of DOW...just nearly a Billion dollars worth
