Note To Christians A Pitfall Of Pascals Wager

A self-avowed Christian offered this, essentially Pascal's Wager, in sheep's clothing

Think again.

You claim to believe that by accepting Jesus (aka God aka Holy Spirit aka Son of God) as your L & S, you have a shot of avoiding hell, which clearly an atheist is less likely to avoid, if at all.

This, you claim, makes you rational.

Perhaps I shouldn't tell you this, because now you may have a big dilemma, but t'other big kid on the block, ie. Islam, says that only Allah (aka the one and only True God) is to be worshipped, and worshipping any man or treating him as God gets you to Muslim Hell.  The hell where you burn forever, and as your skin is burnt off, a new one is formed so that it can be burnt off over and over again.

See, in Islam, Jesus is regarded as the prophet, the only catch is that he is regarded as a man.

Ask Christians if they became Christians because they accepted Pascal's wager. It is a lot of fun.

Yes but you first have to decide if you believe in a God before
deciding which religion that God represents, if any. I mean, that
seems obvious, I hope.
No idea. The length ot time the garage has been open is irrelevant in
the service it provides.

Why is this a special case? For all you don't know, this might be the

Actually it is all of the beliefs in *all* gods.
Why?
So?
Why?
What is fortunate about not even knowing about the real God?
Why not?
No, it also applies to religions with multiple Gods, or multiple

Well, it is actually pointless for a Christian to accept Pascal's
wager. I was talking about someone becoming a Christian because of
Pascal's wager.
Besides, if it a very bad idea for Christians to do so, why would it
be a better one for anyone else?
